National Day For Truth And Reconciliation
On September 30th, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to recognize the painful impact and ongoing effects of residential schools in Canada. It's a day for learning, contemplation, and coming together as a community. As we stand united in support of truth, healing, and reconciliation, together, we can make a meaningful impact.
Modo’s Commitment To Reconciliation

Thanks to the collective efforts of our members, we donated $34,797 in 2023. In previous years, we contributed $26,111 in 2022 and $19,662 in 2021.
Once again, all hourly revenue from trips taken on September 30th, 2024 has been donated to the IRSSS, continuing our support for survivors and their families.

Respecting Our Connection To The Land
At Modo, we recognize that we operate on the traditional territories of many First Nations, who have been the stewards of these lands since time immemorial.
We hold deep respect for their care and wisdom, and we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact as part of our Purpose.

Turn Learnings Into Actions
Learning is just the beginning—what matters most is how we apply it. By contributing to reconciliation efforts in your community, you can make a lasting impact.
Volunteering, supporting Indigenous-led organizations like the IRSSS, and fostering meaningful relationships are powerful steps toward advancing reconciliation. Every action, no matter how small, helps build a stronger, more inclusive future.
