How does a driver on a business account demonstrate eligibility?
If you have had a BC driver’s licence for at least 2 years or have an N licence:
- Use ICBC’s online request page to request they email your driving record (driver’s abstract) and insurance and claims history record for the past two years directly to info@modo.coop
If you have a BC driver’s licence, and have also had another licence within the past 2 years, you may still be able to join Modo by completing the steps below:
- Use ICBC’s online request page to request they email your driving record (driver’s abstract) and insurance and claims history record for the past two years directly to info@modo.coop. To cover the out of province portion of your two year history you can provide a driving record from the country/state/province which issued your previous licence. If your driving records are not in English we require a translation of the records from an ICBC-approved translator.
- If you are not able to provide your out-of-province driving records, make arrangements with Modo to complete a Driver Eligibility Declaration.
If you only have a driver’s licence from outside of BC, you may still be able to join Modo by completing one of the steps below:
- Provide a driving record from the country/state/province which issued your previous licence. If your driving records are not in English we require a translation of the records from an ICBC approved translator. If you are not able to provide your out of province driving records, make arrangements with Modo to complete a Driver Eligibility Declaration.
