A big thank you to Salt Spring Coffee for helping us surprise our members 👋
Our friends at CMPNY took over Modo’s Instagram account last week to show how carsharing and coworking can go hand in hand!
“One of the best parts of our membership with Modo is the flexibility. Do you need a car now, or next week? An SUV, or a sports car? With Modo, we get the convenience of having a car without having to worry about upkeep. Our partnership* allows our members to drive and park their Modo car right across from the office, eliminating any concern about where the car should (or shouldn’t!) be parked. After all, we’ve got business to attend to.” – Clare Linton, CMPNY
*CMPNY coworking qualify for a special new member promotion with Modo, ask your cowork location or email firstname.lastname@example.org for details!
Modo Ambassador Elicia Elliott shares one of her favourite perks of being a Modo member:
“As a transportation planner and as a person who values mobility choice, having Modo vehicles so accessible at TransLink SkyTrain Stations puts a smile on my face. Whether I’m running errands outside of Vancouver or visiting family in Coquitlam, I love how easy Modo makes these multi-modal linked trips. And as a relatively new Vancouverite, I love that I can so easily explore Metro Vancouver.
Integrated mobility is a no-brainer. Check out this cute and zippy Scion at Lafarge Lake–Douglas Station on the Millennium Line Evergreen Extension!”
Guess who else turns 20 this year?
Our partners at Intrepid Theatre are celebrating 20 years of UNO Fest.
The “solo performance” festival takes place May 17-27th this year, featuring innovative shows from parties to soundscapes, from performance art to salsa lessons.

The Bici Libre Initiative, organized by Modo Business Ambassador AMS Bicycle Co-op and Bike Kitchen, recycles and rebuilds bikes. The team uses Modo trucks and vans to transport bikes for the program, which removes transportation barriers for migrant farm workers across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

New to carsharing? Charmaine is a new Modo member, sharing her Modo story on our blog.
“Pouring rain and need groceries? Go for a local Sunday hike on my own? Gotta do errands in an inconvenient part of town? Modo lets me do it all and at $8 per hour, gas and mileage included, it’s a small cost to pay for freedom and fun—and is also better for the environment than owning my own gas guzzler.”
