Let’s Go! The Modo Lunch Rush with Bestie

Ride along with Ken Tsui of Here There as he uncovers Vancouver’s hidden gems with Modo! Six different trips, in six different Modos throughout the Lower Mainland – from visiting an urban farm in Mount Pleasant to the top of Quarry Rock in Deep Cove. Why own a car when you can share 400? Let’s Go!

The Lunch Rush

In our first episode, Ken teams up with the crew from Bestie, the team who brought German street food to Chinatown. They’re on the hunt for some secret currywurst ingredients which first takes them to Mount Pleasant where Camil Dumont from Inner City Farms shows them one of their front yard gardens with a serious kale crop.

Next, they visit Punjab Market in Little India for the all-important spices — and Ken finds an aisle you don’t see in most markets. It all ends back in Chinatown as the team feasts on the fresh ingredients and toasts to a job well done.
