Modo is proud to serve as transportation sponsor to the 10th annual In the House Festival, a 2-day extravaganza of music, dance, magic, comedy, burlesque and circus all taking place in the intimacy of someone’s home!

Thirteen houses open up their doors and yards to the East Van festival’s 20 spectacular shows. There’s something for everyone, so don’t miss out on this fabulous community building event!

As part of our Community Partnership, Modo is presenting sponsor of East Van Represent, a showcase of three local musical acts sure to get your foot tappin’ and your hands clappin’. The show is Saturday, June 8 at 7pm and features Glittering Kingdom, Blackberry Wood and Melissa Bandura performing at 1115 Semlin Drive. Join us!

Curious to meet the tight community who produces and supports this beloved festival year after year? Join the free community potluck on Sunday, June 9. Bring a delicious dish to share, plus a plate, cutlery and drinking container to limit waste (they’ll have some on hand for those who forget!). Please note: this is a strictly alcohol-free event.

Then we set up a sheet in the middle of the room, with an overhead projector and puppets on one side and musical instruments all around.
