Penny Wise!

The 12V Accessory Power sockets (or the cigarette lighter socket, for the old school) are unfortunate receivers of loose coins, paper clips and other loose metal objects. If you’ve accidentally dropped a coin or other small object into one and it doesn’t come out easily, don’t try to force it – we’ll take care of it.

These accessory sockets can be found in most newer vehicles, though their locations change depending on the model.

Whether you accidentally dropped something down there or your latest device indicates the socket is no longer working, please let the Member Loyalty Team know as soon as possible. They’ll alert us and we’ll replace the fuse(s) and restore the power to the socket.
