DOXA 2014: top picks + volunteer opportunity

Modo has partnered with DOXA Documentary Film Festival as official transportation sponsor for another year! This weeklong festival has brought some of the best, thought-provoking documentaries to Vancouver, and this year’s line-up is certainly no exception.
As part of our Community Partnership, we’re presenting sponsors for the film Microtopia – a look at how designers and architects are taking note and reinventing the very concept of the home in a shrinking world. This film is also screened with Torre David: The World’s Tallest Squat, and features a Justice Forum discussion afterward.
There are nearly 100 docs to see during the festival, in addition to those mentioned above. Here’s a look at some top picks by DOXA’s Director of Programming, Dorothy Woodend:
